“From Concept to Final Build”

Gurri will schedule a free on-site consultation once you’re ready to discuss your project and the needs of your family or business. At this meeting, your style whether modern, classic or transitional is established as well as any unique requirements for the project. Upon retaining Gurri Design services an arranged time is scheduled to visit your home or business location to confirm measurements and discuss customized design solutions.

• Step 1—Initial Consultation: We’ll come to your project site to discuss your needs and design possibilities.

• Step 2—Conceptual design and work-scope preview: We’ll meet with you to refine the process with an itemized, detailed work-scope and initial design.

• Step 3—Strategic  Meeting: A meeting at your project site with you, designer/project manager and contracted subs to further the design and confirm work-scope details. We’ll also take site measurements for product selections.

• Step 4—Product Selection: The designer will take you shopping, narrowing options to meet budget price points or bring to you materials, tile and floor selections, and review appliances, cabinetry, lighting and countertops, etc. After approval selection these items will be ordered and placed on scheduled deliveries.

• Step 5—The Transformation Begins: Our team will manage all aspects of your project, we’ll get approval from your building/management,  NYC/local Department of Buildings (DOB) for appropriate permits. Preparation of the project site for demolition areas around the renovation are secured, coordination with building staff, debris removal, all phases of the work, material deliveries and all other details are handled.

• Step 6—Benchmarks: Periodic client project meetings will be scheduled for on-site review of job progress.

• Step 7—“The White Glove:”  Before completion a thorough final cleanup is done, which means your project is move-in ready. Labor and optional service contracts and extended appliance warranties are discussed.
